Every Coach Bag Line: A Complete Walkthrough
Established in 1941, Coach originally produced men’s small leather goods, and women’s handbags came later and eventually became the mainstay of the brand. Now, coach handbags stretch from tailored shoulder bags and slouchy hobos to satchels, carryalls, crossbodies and reissued archive designs. This overview takes each main line in turn, explaining what the bag is, when it appeared and how it is made. Where a launch date is documented, it is given; several familiar lines, by contrast, have no reliable launch year on record.
Each price in this guide is an observed market price from 2026 and not a figure from an official price list, and amounts vary with size, material and promotions. Similar names can refer to completely different designs, a point worth remembering before buying your first coach bag. A search for “couch bag”, which some shoppers type when looking for a Coach bag, can bring furniture pages into the results as that word also means a settee.
The Tabby Family
The Tabby is a structured shoulder bag that also serves as a crossbody, featuring detachable straps and Signature “C” hardware. Drawing on a silhouette from Coach’s 1970s archive, it was introduced by Stuart Vevers in 2019. Its launch campaign, “Dream It Real”, was reportedly shot by photographer Juergen Teller. Product listings have included sizes 20, 26 and 36, while the core product name is Tabby Shoulder Bag.
Names such as Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 With Pillow Quilting identify the softly padded Pillow Tabby, which followed in 2021. The Tabby 26 was observed luxury handbags selling at $475 in the US and £475 in the UK; quilted and special-edition versions were listed higher. Because it shifts easily between shoulder and crossbody wear, it works well for buyers who want one bag for both day and evening.
The Brooklyn
Crafted in natural-grain leather, the Brooklyn is a soft, slouchy coach shoulder bag which sits far closer to a hobo than to the structured Tabby. After appearing on the Fall 2024 runway, it was released in August 2024. Two main sizes have been reported, the Brooklyn 28 and the roomier Brooklyn 39. The 39 is described as roomy enough for a 15-inch laptop, making it a workable work bag.
For the Spring 2026 season, a newer Brooklyn Carryall shape was reported, yet it is not the same bag as the shoulder styles. The Brooklyn 28 was observed at £350 at John Lewis in the UK. The Brooklyn was among the bags cited when The RealReal’s 2025 resale report said searches for Coach had climbed 160%. That figure, it should be noted, tracks searches rather than resale prices.
The Rogue Family
Coach’s structured satchel is the Rogue, which comes with top handles and a shoulder strap. It first appeared on the Fall 2016 runway, was later discontinued and came back in a 2021 relaunch. At the upper end of Coach’s leather range, the line comes in versions in regenerative leather and exotic skins. Observed at $8,000, a Rogue 25 in alligator carried the highest Coach bag price observed in 2026.
Coach also provides a Made-to-Order Rogue, which has reportedly taken around 12 weeks, or around 16 weeks with exotic materials. Via Coach (Re)Loved, the brand’s own resale and repair program, restored Rogue bags have also been offered. For a lot of collectors, the Rogue shows how far upmarket Coach craftsmanship can go.
The Empire Carryall
Sold as the Empire Carryall Bag 34, the Empire Carryall is a lengthened, east-west bag built around top handles. Having been shown on Coach’s Fall 2024 runway, it arrived in February 2025. Fashion press reported that it was sold out on its release day. Softer styles, sold as Soft Empire and including a Soft Empire 40, stand apart from the structured Carryall 34.
The Empire Carryall 34 was observed at £475 on Coach’s own website in the UK. Because of its long top-handle shape, it makes a more polished alternative to a coach tote bag for everyday carrying. Since 34 and 40 are different bags, anyone comparing listings should double-check the number after the name.
Kisslock: Frame, Dreamer and Barrel
Kisslock is the name of a frame clasp modeled on vintage coin purses, a motif Coach associates with the Bonnie Cashin era. Be careful not to confuse the various bags that share the term. Described in reports as the opening look of the Fall 2026 show, the Kisslock Frame Bag in glovetanned leather had an observed price of $350. Because earlier Kisslock Frame versions also turn up in listings, the family could be older than that show.
Today, the Kisslock Dreamer 21 turns up largely as restored or upcrafted pieces through Coach (Re)Loved; it is an older style made with quilted nappa leather and rivets. In Spring 2026, Coach Originals brought back a 1973 design as the Kisslock Barrel Bag. Introducing yet another use of the name, a Kisslock Backpack was also unveiled for Fall 2026.
Swinger and Swing Zip: A Look at The Coach Originals
The Coach Originals is a line of newly produced reissues of archive designs, so its bags are new rather than vintage. A short-strap, zip-top shoulder bag fitted with a turnlock, the Swinger has an original design that Coach dates to 1987. The version sold today is the Swinger Bag 20, also sold With Chain and in Signature canvas or jacquard. Based on a 1998 design, the Swing Zip is a separate Coach Originals bag, meaning the two names should not be swapped.
Early 2025 reports named other Originals like the Safari Bag from 1968, the Dinky from 1974 and the Hamptons Hobo from 2005. It has been reported that the Coach Originals name was already being used by 2020. For anyone who wants an archive look without the wear of a truly vintage piece, the line is a natural choice.
The Soho Names: Bag 25, Flap and Sneaker
Soho is one of the most easily confused names in the Coach catalog as the name spans three different products. The original Soho Flap dates from 2006. Offered in materials such as glovetanned leather, patent leather and crystal jacquard, the Soho Bag 25 is a more compact, newer reissue as opposed to that 2006 bag. Soho styles are part of The Coach Originals, and a Soho Flap Bag in regenerative leather has also been offered.
Unlike the bags, the Soho Sneaker is footwear featured by Coach in 2025 and 2026, and it belongs with shoes and coach clothing rather than handbags. To separate the bags from the shoe, try adding “Bag 25” or “Flap” to your search. Consult Coach’s own website before buying, since no reliable current price for the Soho bags was captured.
The Willow, Cassie and Juliet Lines
Not one of these three lines has a documented launch year, for all their familiarity, so treat with caution any date you see online. The Willow Tote 24, a Willow Shoulder bag and a Willow Bucket have all belonged to Willow, a pebble-leather family. Coach’s own website has also carried a Custom Willow Tote; the Willow Tote 24, for its part, is a simple example of a coach tote bag. Featuring a Signature turnlock and interchangeable straps, the Cassie Crossbody Bag 19 is one example of Cassie, a design that spans crossbody and top-handle styles.
Cassie styles have remained listed on Coach’s own website under newer style codes. Cut from glovetanned leather, Juliet is a relaxed shoulder bag whose versions include the Juliet Shoulder Bag 25 and the Pocket Juliet Bag 30. Availability changes by season, so check whether a given Willow, Cassie or Juliet style is still current before acting on an older review.
All the Lines at a Glance: Observed Prices
For each main line, the table below shows the shape, the key date and, where one was reliably captured, an observed 2026 price. Size, material, color and promotions all affect these figures, which are observed market prices instead of an official Coach price list. US prices exclude sales tax, but UK prices include VAT. Outlet styles get their own promotions at a coach outlet, and full-price styles can be marked down during sales.
Run as Coach’s own official channel, Coach Outlet sells through outlet stores and an official online outlet section on Coach’s own website. In 2014, Coach’s head of investor relations was quoted as saying about 85% of outlet merchandise was made specifically for the outlet channel. That figure should be treated as dated; Tapestry has also since discussed bringing some full-price collection product into outlets. Current-season lines are available at a full-price coach store or on Coach’s own website.
